Cleaning up after a Storm, but wait!

Denver has had a lot of severe weather over the last 2-3 weeks with an abnormal amount of rain and some areas of town has had hail.

The first thing you want to do is start cleaning up — BUT WAIT!    First, before you start cleaning up, video or record what damage you have and are dealing with.   This will help your insurance company move forward.

If you have trees down, but cannot get into your garage — know that it is important, but take some photos or a video to record what you are dealing with!

Another good piece of advice is — do you have a full and complete inventory of your home’s interior items?    Just in case a tornado hits your home, you will need this information.    We have seen tornadoes in Denver proper, but usually they are East of town.
